FAQ
Questions, answered.
How long are the classes?
Every plan includes two live online classes per week, one hour each. Classes run Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 7:00pm and Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm (Eastern Time).
How long does a course last?
Each workplace, conversation and Spanish course lasts 12 weeks. Most students continue to the next level: beginner, intermediate and then advanced. Citizenship and GED preparation are 6-month programs; you can pay monthly or all 6 months upfront. Most students need about 10 months.
Do I need a certain level of English?
No. A free placement test over the phone or by video call finds your level, and we build your lessons from there.
What does the Monthly Plan include?
The $150 monthly fee covers one course of your choice. To take another course at the same time, add $150 per month for each additional course.
Are classes in groups or private?
Group classes have up to 20 students. Individual lessons and small groups of up to 6 students can also be scheduled.
Can I get extra practice?
Yes. Extra sessions are available for students who want additional lessons, at $25 per class.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel online at any time, and it takes effect at the end of the month you already paid. Time already paid is not refunded. If you have a medical or family matter, we can pause your lessons. Citizenship and GED preparation are 6-month programs, paid monthly or upfront; after the first 6 months you can cancel any month.
Can teenagers take classes?
Yes. Students ages 13 to 17 can take classes with a signed authorization from their parent or guardian, who completes the enrollment and pays. We don't accept students under 13.
How do I pay?
Secure online payment by Stripe with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) or Apple Pay.
Can my company pay for my classes?
Yes. We train teams in group or individual sessions. Because every company is different, we prepare a custom proposal.
Are the classes in person?
No. All classes are live and online, so you can join from home or work.
Is the site available in Spanish?
Yes. Use the EN | ES switch at the top of any page.
